Victor joined CSF in 2018 as an intern and now works as a data analyst. He holds a Forestry Engineering Degree from the University of Brasília and speaks Portuguese, English, and Spanish. Previously, he worked at the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation (ICMBio) at the Brazilian Ministry of the Environment and the Brazilian Agriculture Research Corporation (EMBRAPA). He has experience researching environmental economics, forest restoration, and landscape ecology, and has been working with GIS and data science to broaden his analysis and data visualization skills. Victor is a self-proclaimed tech geek, but also loves hiking, looking for breathtaking landscapes, and playing tennis.
